On Saturday 25th November 2023 in London a 4th Global Kidney Foundation Annual Gala took place to raise awareness about life-saving organ donation and raising much needed funds for the renal ward of the Royal Hospital London.
As each year, the Gala has been attended by GF trustees, Zahid Bhatti, the Chairman, Ella Vine and other trustees, the charity's Ambassadors Parveen Rani, NHS Renal staff, doctors and nurses, patients, and supporters.
We would like to thank the speakers: Franel Ave, the Chief Renal Nurse at London BartsHealth NHS Trust, and his colleagues who attended the Gala, renal nurse Captain, Colin Ryan and Evangelyn, patient speakers sharing their transplant story: Ali Noor, David and Ben, Zahid Bhatti the founder and chairman of GKF, and organ donation advocate and ballet performer Patricia Valse.
We would like to also thank the charity's Partner Miss Generation and Miss Poland in the Uk and NI and its organiser Pawel Majewski, for speech and support.

The Gala started at 6 pm with speeches by GF trustees, NHS renal staff and patients, thanking sponsors who all came to the stage, followed by performances, food and drink, music and ended by a disco dance at 11pm.
