Ella Vine is a certified Naturopath and three-time Polish chess champion. For over 10 years she managed and led small and large health & social care charities in the UK, working as a CEO, Project Manager, Fundraising Manager, Chair of the Board and trustee. She has wide knowledge and experience working for patient organisations and healthcare services. She managed as CEO a national fibromyalgia charity FibroAction UK, managed fundraising projects for Self Management UK, a health service delivery social enterprise, for Wavelength, a social care charity, and Greenwich & Bexley Hospice. She also managed projects and a social enterprise for Bristol Community Transport. In 2011 she was chosen as one of top fundraisers in the UK by Civil Society and the ‘’Fundraising’’ Magazine, when she raised £1.2 million for a local hospice. She was a Board member of the Trading Standards Institute in the UK.

GKF was founded by those who have gone through the traumatic experience of renal diseases and are aware of the effects it can have on not only the patients but also on their loved ones.
